The Poole Alcock Family team are delighted to be taking part in a charity walk to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice on the 26th June. The St Luke’s Midnight Walk returns this year in a hybrid virtual and in-person event, after last year’s event was virtual only. It sees participants walk the 6 or 10 mile route from Nantwich to Crewe and back. Proceeds from the walk help St. Luke’s ability to provide palliative care to the community, including getting patients back to work after illness and aiding families cope through the grieving process.
We’re proud to have so many of our Family Law team take part, including: Nicola Deakin, Helen Stoller, Nicola Jones, Amie Pine, Rachael Day, Irini Shouman, Richard Barratt, Vicky McAllister and Sonia Rickard.
St Luke’s have said:‘
’We’re over the moon to have a team from Poole Alcock on board for what is our biggest annual fundraising event of the year. Staff have supported the Hospice in many different ways over the years, including Snowdon climbs, our annual Make a Will Week and countless Bake Sales. It’s never been more important to have the support of the local business community, so thank you to the team for giving up their Saturday night, donning their trainers and stepping out for St Luke’s!’’
Nicola Deakin, from Poole Alcock’s Family team said:
“After lockdown and the majority of us being deployed to home working, I wanted to do something to get the team together. I saw the Midnight Walk advertised and felt it was perfect. As a firm we have always tried to support local causes, particularly St Luke’s Hospice and so it was ideal. We can’t wait. Bring it on!”
The team are collecting money via Just Giving, and would appreciate your support to raise as much money as possible for this incredibly important charity. You can do so via the below link:
