With everything currently going on and everything that’s taken place over the last few years, keeping your Mental Health in check has never been more important. We all know that with the jobs that we do, it’s easy to assume that stress and anxiety come as a package. Whilst stress can be a very helpful motivation in the right circumstances, when it becomes overbearing then this is when it becomes counterproductive and causes problems. Poor mental health within the legal sector is by no means a new revelation and although the stigma surrounding this has eased somewhat over the last several years, more still needs to be done. In a sector dominated by highly talented, driven and determined people (who we are proud to call colleagues), it is understandable that many still fear that opening up about their mental health might leave employers deeming them incapable.
