A number of the Poole Alcock team challenged themselves to climb Snowdon in order to raise funds for the wonderful, well deserving local charity, St Lukes Cheshire Hospice. The brave team consisted of Sara Jennings, Sara White, Russ Bloor, Stacey Watret, Grace Watret, Kelly Underwood, Victoria O’Brien, Sheila Bloor and Tom Booth. The traitorous weather didn’t dampen the teams spirits and adorned with ponchos and buckets full of adrenaline, off they set! After a long and exhausting day, we are happy to announce that all of the team fought against the elements and managed to get down safely, despite being soaked to the skin. We must given a special mention to Grace, who at only 10 years old, courageously tackled the climb without a single complaint or grumble. Well done Grace! So far we have raised a massive £582.00, far exceeding our target of £250.00. A huge well done to everybody that anticipated.
